UN LogoToday the United Nations Summit on Sustainable Development opens … and the 17 Sustainable Development Goals are adopted the world’s largest-ever gathering of heads of state.

What more can we say? This is huge. This is the reason 17Goals exists. This is arguably the biggest day in human history … Because this is the first time in human history that we have witnessed such a coming together, as one human family, to define a tangible, achievable vision for all people on this planet — and for the planet itself.

Admittedly, the “human family” tends to bicker and fight. Parts of it are convulsed in war or saber-rattling or arguing https://www.rossitchpediatricdentistry.com/buy-clomid-online/ over migration, even as their formal leaders endorse this (voluntary) set of 17 goals and 169 underlying targets. That is the reality of our world: one part inspiring future vision, one part challenging current reality.

We at 17Goals encourage you to be attentive to this extraordinary moment. It truly is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to see history in the making. You can even watch the action live, on the UN’s webcast:

And celebrate, even in the midst of all our worries, the birth of this beautiful, tangible, and most of all, possible vision of a better future for people and planet.
