Accelerating Change Conference Becomes 17Goals Launch Event

The Danish organization “Transition World” is sponsoring a large event on October 6, called “Accelerating Change.” Alan AtKisson is keynoting the conference, which will involve over 600 high schools students and 100-200 adults. The conference will also involve the students in day-long “Pyramid” workshops, organized around sustainable development themes and using the new Sustainable Development Goals as a starting point.

“When Bente Milton of Transition World asked me to keynote this conference, I realized there was an opportunity for synergy here,” said Alan AtKisson, who coordinates 17Goals. “And Bente, who is a dynamic https://www.sihspune.org/propecia.php organizer, saw that opportunity as well. So we agreed to make this amazing conference — which involves the students as workshop organizers — the ‘global launch event’ for 17Goals as well.”

The conference is open to the public and will include an evening concert, where Danish bands will be performing. Alan will open the evening event as well with his one-man show, “Sustainability – The Musical!”
