A 5-Minute Video on Sustainable Consumption

The digital educators at EDEOS in Berlin have produced an excellent English-language video that explains why consuming lots of cheap stuff in one part of the world is probably leading to environmental damage in other parts of the world — damage that does not show up in the price of that stuff.

Addressing this https://shlclubhouse.org/soma-online/ problem of misleading prices, which economists refer to as “externalities,” is critical to realizing Goal 12 on sustainable production and consumption.

EDEOS makes their sustainability education videos free, meaning that anyone is permitted to use the video, embed in on their website, etc. (with Creative Commons attribution).
