On SDG Partnerships and Foundation Billions

$360 billion! That’s how much money private foundations are expected to contribute to the realization of the SDGs by 2030. And a significant piece of that money will go to multi-stakeholder partnerships. (17Goals is also a multi-stakeholder partnership, but we’re not expecting any of that money to come to us, since we are a volunteer-based program.)

Partnerships bring different groups, organizations, and sectors together around common objectives, and they are an essential piece of realizing the SDG vision. The UN’s doing a good job of facilitating their development and exchange.
